Most women enjoy taking baths. There is nothing like soaking in the tub after a long, hard day. However, it is important to be cognizant of the fact that frequent baths can potentially cause damage to the skin. Dry skin is a common side effect of frequent bathing. Hot bath water strips the skin of its natural moisture that the skin needs to stay healthy.

Peeling and blistering are also side effects that can occur from frequent bathing. Blistering occurs when the fluid builds up in the upper layers of the skin. Hot water can cause a blister to develop. Peeling is a sign that the layers underneath the skin may be getting damaged.

Frequent baths can cause skin damage, but the good news is that there are ways to take a bath without damaging the skin. The most important thing to do is make sure that the water is set to a warm temperature. It is important to note that water that is too cold can damage the skin also.

Additionally, the time spent in the tub should be limited. Experts recommend that to keep the skin healthy, it is best to spend less than 20 minutes when relaxing in the bath. They also recommend that baths be limited to two or three times per week.
